Portrait and Wedding Photography is
Emotion, Character, Energy, and Elegance
That is exactly what I work to achieve with my wedding photography or portrait photography. When people look at one of my photographs, I do not want them to see a picture of a person. I want them to see "the" person.
People have Emotion. People have Character. People have Energy, and people have Elegance. To have those ethereal qualities become visible in the photograph is the challenge.
Excellent photography requires command of technology, technique, and composition. Equally it requires an understanding of the subject. The photographer must not only know when all photographic elements have come together, but also “see” the exact instant the subject will “come alive” in the image.
This is my goal with my wedding photography, portrait photography, and special event photography. Even in images that do not involve people, I am attempting to show what it is the heart can see.
